HISTORY


The home of Manfred Schulz and his camera is  Asendorf just some kilometers south of Hamburg. Manfred began already in his teenage and learned the business from scratch – at that time still with a 16mm-film and big band-machines, equipment which is found today in museums only.
The company was founded in 1983. In the first years they made more than 150 films in the special interest and education area.  But Manfred wanted more: his dream was to sit on a Friday evening at prime time in front of the TV and to watch one of his own productions right after the daily news.  The first time this dream became reality in 1998 with the broadcast of “The homeland of Odysseus” made for the NDR.  Since then many documentaries and features could be seen on the TV screen.  And permanently he and his team are having more and more ideas, concepts, themes for more broadcast productions. Meanwhile  about 50 TV productions yearly  made by us are broadcasted on German  TV. Since 2007 all productions are made in HDTV on most modern broadcast level.
